PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for corresponding words in translation, by which appliable language are not limited, and information for corresponding words in translation in morpheme unit appliable to translation for multilanguage is generated. SOLUTION: A morpheme matrix generation part 11 generates a morpheme matrix by making juxtaposition of morpheme of original language as elements of caption for column and making juxtaposition of morpheme of target language as elements of caption for line, according to sentences of parallel translation composed of sentences of original language and sentences of target language, and generates a morpheme matrix with similarity of appearance by inputting morpheme matrix into corresponding element of matrix in the morpheme matrix after calculating the given similarity of appearance between each morpheme of original language and each morpheme of target language, and memorizes it into morpheme matrix memory 23. After that, corresponding word in translation selection part 12 selects most probable corresponding words for the best translation between each morpheme of original language and each morpheme of target language and outputs it by referring to the similarity of appearance.
