PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for re-tooling a wiring support device.;SOLUTION: A holder unit 360 is moved by means of an XY robot 48 which moves a head 30 for mounting an electric part on a printed wiring board 24, holder pins and closing pins set on the holding base of a printed wiring board holder 174 are removed and contained in a container 340, and then specified holder pins and closing pins are taken out from the container 340 and set on the holder base. The holder base has negative pressure supply holes and the holder pins suck and support the printed wiring board 24 with a negative pressure when the inner negative pressure passages thereof communicate with the negative pressure supply holes. Negative pressure supply holes not set with the holder pins are covered with the closing pins. Re-tooling time is shortened by automating setting and collection of these pins. Re-tooling may be performed by disposing an automatic unit on the outside of an electric part mounting system, and re-tooling time may be shortened by replacing the printed wiring board holder at the time of re-tooling the electric part mounting system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
