PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the joining structure of a column and a beam in which the H-steel beam can be joined easily with a square-shaped steel-pipe column having a closed cross section by using only a general high-strength bolt while workability can be improved and construction cost reduced.;SOLUTION: In the joining structure of the column and the beam in which the H-steel beam is joined with the square-shaped steel-pipe column 1 having the closed cross section through a pair of upper and lower split tees 5, the high-strength bolts 3 are inserted into bolt holes 2 bored to the pipe wall 1a of the steel-pipe column 1 under the state in which the bolts 3 are fitted movably towards the outside from the inside of the column 1, and the bolts 3 are held temporarily by bolt holding members 4 from the outside of the column while the bolt holding members 4 are installed among joint surfaces with the pipe wall 1a of the column 1 and the joining flanges 51 of the split tees 5 at the same time as the mounting of the split tees 5.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
