PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste disposal equipment which decomposes and makes a harmful substance or a subject including it harmless by using high temperature superheated steam, and to provide a disposal method for rendering a harmful substance or a subject including it harmless.;SOLUTION: This invention is related to a waste disposal equipment which has a heating reactor 13, which has an entrance 11 for a waste at one side and an exit 12 for a waste at other side and disposes harmlessly an inputted waste by high temperature superheated stream, a waste charging mechanism 14 to gradually charge a waste to the heating reactor 13, a superheated steam generation means 15 to generate high temperature superheated steam for the heating reactor 13, nozzle piping 16 installed in the heating reactor 13, to blow high temperature superheated steam made by the superheated steam generation means 15 against a waste in the heating reactor 13, a discharge mechanism 17 to discharge gas and leftovers generated from the heating reactor 13 to outside. The disposal equipment carries out disposal of a waste harmlessly in the heating reactor 13 with no oxygen condition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
