PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commerce method capable of smoothing the commodity purchasing action of a customer and allowing the customer to receive a benefit, when introducing another customer or conduct a payment request. SOLUTION: This electronic commerce method comprises the Internet (communication network) 22, having a commodity X electronic commerce which provides server 24 connected to a second information apparatus 21. The second information apparatus 21a comprises a two-dimensional code reader, a two-dimensional code decoding means 10b, and a two-dimensional code converting means 10c. The purchaser reads a commodity sales card comprising a two-dimensionally coded production number, imparted by each individual commodity, or the like by the information apparatus and performs the payment in the commodity X electronic commerce providing server 24a. When the commodity of the same production number has a past purchase hysteresis, and this purchaser is different from the past purchaser, benefit or compensation is provided to the past purchaser as an introducer of the commodity to this purchaser.
