PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more diversified mode and a system for civil engineering works, which utilizes the Internet and helps to cast off conventional bidding methods where bidding is conducted within a group.;SOLUTION: The system consists of components connected each other via a communication network N, which are an borderer side terminal 1, that offers order information of the civil engineering works, a bidder side terminal 2 that receives bids for the ordered civil engineering works, and a bid management server 3 that gathers and controls the order information from the order terminal 1 and also processes the bids according to bid operations at the bidder side terminal 2. The bid management server 3 has an order information file that records the order information of the civil engineering works provided by the orderer side terminal 1 and provides the order information recorded on the file to the bidder side terminal 2. The system has a bid request operation function, that expedites the required bid and also has a control function, that decides the bid winner on the basis of the bid operation at the bidder side terminal 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
