PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio signal quantization apparatus which can reduce a computing quantity.;SOLUTION: To the 0.75th power calculating device 1 consists of an inverse number calculation means 2, a first to the -0.5th power calculation means 3, a multiplication means 4, a second to the -0.5th power calculation means 5, and a program storage medium 6 connected to the outside. The calculation of to the 0.75th power in a quantization formula is performed by executing a program stored in the program storage medium 6.
