PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for trapping and killing insect pests, which has a simple structure, can efficiently attract, trap and kill the insect pests, and is sanitary.;SOLUTION: A light trap is disposed at a near place above the opening of an insect-trapping case to attract insect pests. The insect pests attracted by the light trap and dropped or invaded in the insect-trapping case are brought into contact with at least one inner wall heated with a heating means in the insect-trapping case, and killed, and the dead bodies are dried. Further, the peripheral edge of the opening is heated to prevent the insect pests from escaping from the insect-trapping case.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
