PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a patient to whom the going to a hospital is large distress and burden to have an examination or a consultation of a nearly equal level to an examination or a consultation performed in the hospital, with the patient in his residence. SOLUTION: In this system, an examining person wearing a wearable computer 10 visits the patient's residence (B) and detects blood pressure, a pulse, body temperature or the like of the patient. The examining person transmits detection data to a computer 2 of the hospital (A) via a nearest base station 4, a cellphone network 5 and an ISDN telephone network 6 by use of a cellphone function of the wearable computer 10. In the hospital (A), a doctor performs the consultation on the basis of the detection data by the computer 2, gives advice on appropriate treatment to the examining person, and transmits prescription data. The prescription data are transmitted to a computer 3 of a prescription pharmacy (C), and medicine is delivered to the patient's residence (B) by a procedure of a druggist.
