PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly display and control a battle scene by smoothly connecting an attack and defense of a hero character and an opponent character in a battle scene of a video game. SOLUTION: A plurality of selecting tables composed of a plurality of events are classified with every category, and are stored in a selecting/event table storage part 20. A control part 17 determines which turn comes among the hero character or the opponent character on the basis of a random number in a battle, and selects either selecting table of the hero character or the opponent character on the basis of the random number, and repeatedly executes operation for displaying and controlling the respective characters so as to execute the events in this selecting table. Thus, the battle scene can be smoothly displayed and controlled by smoothly connecting the attack and the defense of the hero character and the opponent character.
