PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water leak prevention method capable of completely preventing a water leak from a water tank or reservoir formed of concrete, wood, metal such as steel material or the like, plastic, glass, soil or the like over a long period of time and facilitating the execution at a low cost and the water leak prevention applied to the water tank or the reservoir.;SOLUTION: The inside of the water tank or the reservoir is coated with a corrosion resisting metal thin plate. It is desirable that the corrosion resisting metal thin plate is a titanium thin plate or a titanium alloy thin plate.
