PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflection type liquid crystal display preventing a moire phenomenon causing degradation of display performance from being generated and simultaneously achieving high luminance at low power consumption. SOLUTION: The moire phenomenon generated as a light distribution change unit 230 uniformizing the light distribution of an artificial light source and the reflective electrode 340 of the reflection type liquid crystal display device 300 are superimposed at the time of performing display by the reflection type liquid crystal display device 300 in a dark place by utilizing the artificial light source and a light leakage phenomenon generated from the light change unit are prevented by changing the constitution of the light change unit. Thus, not only the display of the reflection type liquid crystal display is enabled even in the dark place but also the moire phenomenon causing the display performance decline is not generated and the high luminance is obtained with the low power consumption.
