PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of printing a single-color or multicolor letter, pattern, photograph or the like with high quality on the surface of a hydraulically solidified molded article without using a troublesome process such as firing, a product by the method and an original sheet of release paper for transfer to be used therefor.;SOLUTION: In the method for single-color or multicolor transfer onto the hydraulically solidified molded article, a single-color or multicolor transfer layer of the original sheet of the release paper for single-color or multicolor transfer is formed by printing single-color or multicolor printing ink containing an inorganic pigment on a film of a synthetic resin excellent in releasability, such as polyethylene, polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, polyacetate or vinyl chloride, or on a release agent layer of the release paper. The original sheet of the release paper is laid inside a molding tool, with the transfer layer outside, and then a flowable material of the hydraulically solidified molded article is poured onto the transfer layer. After aging for a prescribed time, the solidified molded article is removed from the molding tool and the release paper is peeled off. Thereby the single-color or multicolor pattern, photograph or letter is transferred onto the molded article.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
