PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curve interpolation method for numerical control system, which can reduce interpolation error by accurately calculating increments of parameters.;SOLUTION: The system obtains the first order derivative (S4) of interpolation curve at the present position and at least one of positions on the future interpolation curve and calculates a first order derivative of interpolation curve at the position on the future interpolation curve. Then it finds an average value (S6) for the first order derivative of the interpolation curve at the present position and that a position on the future interpolation curve.
