PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unfairness depending on age and health condition by setting the facility usage fee as a monthly charge, so that elderly persons can readily go into this home as a resident, in comparison with the existing payment for the lump-sum money and the facility usage fee changes depending on his residence period, and in addition, when a resident desires change in the lump- sum payment system, such a desire can be satisfied, and thereby the resident can fix risk for long-life at that time and the resident can stay continuously in this home with a peace of mind.;SOLUTION: In this method for managing a charged home for elderly persons or the similar facilities, the facility usage fee corresponding to the rent and management fee are set as the monthly charges, and when a resident desires the payment of the facility usage with a lump-sum money, the total or a partial monthly facility usage fee can be exempted, in the case where the relevant resident pays a temporary money which corresponds to the average remaining life time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
