The application describes the use of biogenic estrogen sulfamates for intermittent oral administration with hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Periodic administration is carried out at intervals of 2-40 days. According to the invention, it is also proposed to additionally administer gestagens, preferably continuous administration, carried out using an implant or using an intrauterine release system (IUD). As a biogenic estrogen sulfamate, estrone sulfamate, estradiol sulfamate, estriol sulfamate or estrone N-acylsulfamate estrone, estradiol or estriol having up to 7 carbon atoms in the acyl chain, or a combination of two or more of these active substances can be used.
