A container especially suitable for fermenting red wine contains an agitator and fulfills the role of a fermentation system. The system is fully automatic and does not require human control. The upright wall of the container (1) is cylindrical. An agitator (3) is placed in the container. The agitator is convex in upwards direction and open at base. It rotates along its axis (2) placed above the median section of the container (1).
