PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a whiteness evaluation method objectively evaluating a sense of whiteness of emitted light from a light source, and a light source for lighting and a lighting system with high whiteness.;SOLUTION: Whiteness is defined by a linear expression of a chroma value C obtained by using The CIE 1997 Interim Color Appearance Model (Simple Version), and a coefficient of the linear expression is determined in accordance with a viewing object to be evaluated.
