PURPOSE: A method for voice mail or voice chatting using a voice avatar is provided to make profit by converting message information into voice information in e-mail or chatting, and by adding various voice effects. CONSTITUTION: Message information is inputted to an e-mail server or a chatting server. E-mail control information or chatting control information necessary for converting the message information into voice information is transmitted to a server capable of supporting voice effects. The message information is transmitted to a voice composition server and converted into voice information. The voice information is transmitted to the server according to the e-mail control information or the chatting control information. The server performs a voice conversion according to the e-mail control information or the chatting control information.
