PURPOSE: Panel structure of an air conditioner is provided to minimize a gap between a middle panel and a lower panel by inclining extension pieces downward, and to improve appearance by preventing inflow of dust between the panels. CONSTITUTION: Upper, middle and lower panels(110,115) are installed separably in a front of an air conditioner body(105), and extension pieces are inclined downward in the middle and lower panels. The lower panel is opened and closed with turning around a hinge to suck indoor air, and extension pieces(115a,115b) are bent downward at both ends of the lower panel. The first extension piece of the lower panel is turned around the hinge in opening the lower panel, and the second extension piece of the lower panel is inclined downward against an extension piece(110a) of the middle panel. The lower panel is opened without contact, and the gap between the middle and lower panels is minimized with inclining extension pieces downward. Dust inflow is prevented, and the appearance is improved.
