PURPOSE: An inherent holography three-dimensional display device is provided to realize the real number part and imaginary number part of complex hologram in the same system, to improve system reliability. CONSTITUTION: Complex amplitudes of lights corresponding to phase retardation control of the first wave plate are calculated. Light intensities corresponding to the complex amplitudes are detected. The light intensities are electronically combined to generate complex hologram. Complex information of the complex hologram is added to a laser beam using a spatial light modulator. A complex hologram image is generated from the laser beam including the complex information using the second wave plate.
