PURPOSE: Provided are a temperature control system for mass concrete by using a cooling column and a static flow rate valve and a process for cooling pipeline to efficiently and economically control the temperature of the mass concrete even in areas for supplying cold water not smoothly. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a cooling column(10), a cold water circulation pump(20), a static flow rate valve(50), a pipe(60) hidden into a concrete structure(90), and main branch lines. The cooling column(10) is for cooling the hot water after circulating pipe network(60) mounted into the concrete structure(90) up to desired temperature and jointed to the circulation pump(20) by a line for transferring the cold water cooled by the column(10) into the pump. The lines further comprise a line(40) for sending the hot water after circulating the pipe network(60) into the cooling column; a line(70) for discharging the cooling water after completing the cooling process; and a line(80) for supplement of cooling water caused by evaporation of the water.
