PURPOSE: An advertisement service method and system is provided to convert a web page background into a background of an advertiser by using the URL of the advertiser web page when a user plays an internet game, and to enable the game server to support game data and the advertiser web site to support the background web page so that it can maximize the advertisement effect. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of an advertisement web site offering a request of a web page advertisement to a game server, and making a settlement for the advertisement by using a payment module(301), the game server registering the URL of the advertiser web site at a database and setting a URL control time(302), a client accessing the game server and requesting a game execution event to the game server(303), the game server displaying a game agent on a new window of a client browser, and transmitting game execution data to the new game window by using a push data transmission technology(304), and the client performing the game based on the transmitted game data, the game server measuring an elapsed time and a game status, the game server converting a current background page into a background page of the advertiser web site by using a web page movement server component and the URL stored at the database(305).
