PURPOSE: A method and a device for amplifying an RF signal of a contactless IC card system are provided to amplify an RF signal by appending an independent interactive induction amplification relay antenna besides a loop antenna formed on a read write unit and an IC card, thereby increasing an interactive inductance value between two loop antennas. CONSTITUTION: In a contactless IC card system for reading and recording data as non contact method by an electromagnetic induction(RF) between an RWU(Read/Write Unit) comprising a CPU, an RF amplifier, a demodulator, a loop antenna, and a loop antenna coupling unit and a contactless IC card comprising an IC chip module and a loop antenna which is electrically connected to the IC chip, at least one mutual induction amplifying relay antenna is formed on the RWU, the IC card, the RWU and the IC card, or a non-metal external case capable of storing an IC card for amplifying an RF signal by increasing a mutual inductance between two loop antennas. At this time, the mutual induction amplifying relay antenna is formed on an independent position, which is not electrically connected to the loop antenna of the RWU or the IC card.
