DETECTION KIT OF THYROID STIMULATING HORMONE USING IMMUNORADIOMETRIC ASSAYS

PURPOSE: A kit for detecting thyroid-stimulating hormone using immunoradiometric assays is provided, thereby the kit can rapidly and correctly detect the presence of thyroid-stimulating hormone in the blood, so that the disorder of thyroid can be determined. CONSTITUTION: The kit for detecting thyroid-stimulating hormone using immunoradiometric assays comprises (a) a standard thyroid stimulating hormone; (b) an isotope-labeled thyroid stimulating hormone antibody for the thyroid-stimulating hormone antigen; and (c) an antibody for the thyroid-stimulating hormone antigen. The method for detecting thyroid-stimulating hormone comprises the steps of: (a) mixing the standard thyroid stimulating hormone antigen, the isotope-labeled thyroid stimulating antibody and the thyroid stimulating hormone antibody to produce a standard sample, and simultaneously mixing the isotope-labeled thyroid stimulating hormone antibody and the thyroid stimulating hormone antibody in a reactor; (b) removing the mixture of (a) and measuring cpm of each reactor on a gamma scintillation counter; (c) preparing a standard graph using the measured cpm of the standard sample; and calculating the amount of the thyroid stimulating hormone in a testing sample by inserting the cpm value of testing sample into the standard graph.
