The wideband sound-absorbing element has at least two sound-absorbing sub-elements, a first sound-absorbing sub-element with a number of low-frequency resonators (100) formed by walls and with different resonant frequencies and a second sound-absorbing sub-element with a number of high-frequency resonators (203) formed by bent and folded sheet. Independent claims are also included for the use of a wideband sound-absorbing element in a process system.
