The clutch pressure plate assembly a force accumulator(34) to apply a press-on force and is installed outside the clutch housing(12) and on a side facing away from the pressure plate(30). At least one support section(50) is provided on the pressure plate and penetrates an opening(48) in the clutch housing and upon which acts the force accumulator. The force accumulator support section has a face section(54) extending at an angle with regard to the radial and circumferential direction. Independent claims are included for a friction clutch equipped with the proposed pressure plate assembly, and for a procedure for the assembly of the aforesaid friction clutch.
