The stopper for a bottle, container or tube comprises a housing (1) with integral spout (2) into which a stopper (3) with a cylindrical lower section (7) fits. This is fitted with a lower (6) and upper (9) sealing ring with a gap between. A lock (10) outside the sleeve holds the stopper in the open or closed position. Springs between the housing and stopper allow it to open when it is pressed further into the bottle neck.
