Using an insulating materials tube (1a,1b) as a broken cast mould for casting end windings (2a,2b) on a stator for an electrical driving mechanism dispenses with casting tools. The insulating materials tube is centred on the end windings inner surface turned towards the stator's axis (9) and forms a hollow space with the front surface of the stator bundle of laminations (6) and with a cooling sleeve (8) for holding end windings filled up with a casting compound (3a,3b).
