Airflow measurement valve for breathing apparatus fixes valve disk on side as overlapped by second elastic disk to affect valve disk spring characteristic for directionally differentiated airflow paths.
The valve disk (2) is nonrotatably secured firstly by fixer (5) and is partly overlapped by a second elastic disk (4) nontwistably fixed between disk (2) and fixer (5). The total spring characteristic of disk (2) is influenced in such a way that the non-fixer side of the valve dish (2) opens easily under volumetric flow in the through direction and opens up to give generous opening paths. Towards the fixer element (5) on the other hand the air flow is steadily diminished with the increasing thickness of the spring to produce a geometric area of the disk (2) giving a reproducibly proprtional change in path amenable to measurement by a magnetic component mounted on the disk and its proximally fitted electric scanner (7).
