A microbiological process for the biosynthesis of the natural blue - violet dyes and violacein deoxyviolacein and their use

Known microbiological processes are based on the use of pigment forming bacteria, in particular, chromobacterium violaceum. However, these processes have only a low yield degrees, so that large-scale industrial applications are not possible. The demand for natural, blue dyes, the largely human are compatible, however, it is in many branches of industry large and is currently not covered. The process according to the invention is therefore characterized in that, as pigment image end bacterium by the applicant, the newly detected marine sediment bacterium pseudo alteromonas species strain "black beauty " (only behind, in accordance with the budapest convention for the purpose of patent granting procedures under the accession number dsm 13623 in the german collection of microorganisms and cell cultures gmbh, braunschweig, germany) is used. With this marine sediment bacterium, an increase in the yield of about 13 times with respect to the known methods. A use of the with the method according to the invention economically and simply with the natural dyes can be obtained in large quantities in consumer - and environmentally friendly products in particular from the region of the food -, textile - or play is possible for the tool industry.
