The fan with axial blades, particularly for a road vehicle radiator, has axial blades (2) fixed to a nave (3), with air guide components arranged in the nave area and on the suction side of the axial blades. The air guide components are formed as fin-type stabilizers (5), with their extent(s) in a peripheral direction being in the range of 0.01 t is less than or equal to s is less than or equal to 0.40 t, where t is the blade distribution. The length of the stabilizers corresponds approximately to the length of the axial blades. The front edge of the stabilizers is displaced in relation to the front edge of the blades in the air flow direction.
