Between the workpiece table (4) and the tool magazine (6,7) there is a curved cover element (10) which can be moved from an upper operating position covering the magazine into a lowered position which exposes the tools in the magazine for easy replacement. Two plate magazines are mounted in succession next to the workpiece table where they can be raised and lowered individually.
