The flowing medium is divided into main (A) and ancillary (B) flows, the ancillary flow led off via lines (2) to satellite switching stations (3) returning then to the main flow via connecting lines (4). The ancillary flow is deflected at the station entries (3,5) and once reversed is led back to the main flow via lines (4) at the station entry (6). A flow control body (9) centrally between the ancillary flow line (2) entries (7) and the remaining free annulus of the pipeline contains a regulator (9) to control the main flow volume. An adjustable flow-twisting device is fitted in the free pipeline section round the ancillary line entries (7).
