The locking ring bolt (1) has a cylindrical shaft (2) fitting through aligned bores in the components to be mechanically connected, with a head (3) at one end of the shaft cooperating with the outer surface of one of the components, the opposite end of the shaft having a profiled locking region (5), coupled via a rupture point (8) with a break-off section (10) used for reception of an assembly tool.
