Regulating power factor correction circuit for rectifier involves subtracting deviation of bridge rectifier output and reference currents from reference duty cycle to give control duty cycle
The method involves controling a switch element using a digital controler that determines the deviation of the filter capacitor output voltage from a reference voltage and a reference current value from the deviation and the desired rectifier input current profile. The deviation of the bridge rectifier output current from the reference current is subtracted from a reference duty cycle to give the duty cycle for controling the switch element.
