Baling press has pressure ram movable in baling channel, channels for insertion tool, pressure plate, opening gaps and closure pieces

A pressure ram (3) moves in and out of a baling channel (2). the bale held by the ram in a pressed position is enclosed by a loop of binder string or wire. The pressure ram has channels (16) through which fits an insertion tool (13) behind an end-side pressure plate and running across the pressing direction. The ducts have opening gaps opening into the end side for the binder cord to emerge through from the channel. The insertion-tool passes through wall-openings (14,15) flush with the channel. The wall-openings have movable closure pieces(21,22) which leave a passage for the binder material (9,10) open.
