Method for medical examination of the micro- circulation using a video-microscope and a laser (6) Doppler blood flow measurement device that use a common objective (2) for laser transmission, detection of scattered laser light and object imaging. Distance and position changes are determined using video image processing and the laser focus (10) for flow measurement is automatically tracks the objective when it moves as does the optoelectronic receiver (4). An Independent claim is also included for a corresponding arrangement that uses the inventive method.
