Hemispherical recording and image processing system for analysis of light relationships in woods or other shaded locations using an integrated device that has onboard data analysis capability

Hemispherical system has a combined recording and analysis system with an integral digital compass. Hemispherical photos are recorded using CMOS image sensors, with a proprietary algorithm for determining brightness control. An integrated graphics display is provided along with a self-developed frame grabber card. Image analysis is undertaken using an integrated PC that can operate for up to 20 hours using battery power.
