High-powered powertrain of an electric car for boosting a motor output so as to operate a large-capacity generator and to drive car wheels comprises: traction pulleys (11, 11') and drive members (28, 28') of clutches (27, 27') mounted free on motor axles (10, 10') with first pulleys (11, 11') keyed to the axles and traction rods (13, 13') coupled from pulley hubs (12, 12') to other pulley rims (15, 15') for serving as levers in series to boost motor output; traction pulleys (11) and driven members (34) of clutch (27) mounted free on generator axle (43') with first pulley (19) keyed to axle (43') and traction rods (13) coupled to next pulley rims (15), with drive member (28), for operating clutch (27) easily and increasing the boosted output to rotate generator axle (43'); driven member (34') of clutch (27') keyed to drive propeller shaft (48), with drive member (28'), for operating clutch (27') easily in sending the boosted output to drive wheels.
