The cardboard packaging case comprises fours side walls closed at each end by two outer flaps which are stuck onto two internal flaps. Each outer flap has two low resistance lines (52,54) which extend from the flap free longitudinal edge to a folding line (12,14) by which the flap is attached to the side wall (26,28). The lines of low resistance are in an outer flap zone (56) which is not stuck to the underlying inner flaps. Two second low resistance lines (62,64) extend along the folding line between points where the first weak resistance lines end on the folding line and its ends.
