The air conditioning for a motor vehicle has air flow passages with control louvres (13) each operated by a motorized (24) actuator via a linkage. The linkages (11) operate over angular sectors of movement (17) from each actuator. A central control memory stores the movement information for all actuators corresponding to the degree of louvre opening. Each actuator can have a movement storage memory.
