The system has a central auto radio type unit (DSC) which receives compressed MP3 format audio files from the Internet or a microcomputer and stores them in a central memory. Peripheral readers (LPi) able to process the compressed MP3 format files cooperate with the central unit and include earphones for individual passengers. Loudspeakers (HP) are provided for the driver.
