The convection radiator has the electric heating element in a closed housing at the bottom of the radiator. The radiator itself can be filled with any working fluid, including water, and heat from the electric element is transferred by conduction through the wall of the element housing. Water can also be supplied from a central heating system. The heater modules are grouped to form a battery.
