PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic lane guidance display method visually guiding and displaying a proper travel lane when a vehicle comes into and out of a crossing on a screen, and to provide a navigation device therefor.;SOLUTION: In this display method, the guidance crossing to be guided is extracted on the basis of searched route information and map data (S11). Lane data such as the number of lanes or lane restriction of a connection road to each the extracted guidance crossing are read, and a recommended lane information indicating the travel lane recommended when the vehicle comes into and out of the guidance crossing is generated (A12). A deformed crossing image for lane guidance in the guidance crossing is generated on the basis of the guidance crossing information and the lane data (S13). A travel path for the guidance crossing corresponding to the recommended lane when the vehicle comes into and out of the guidance crossing is generated on the basis of the recommended lane information (S14).
