PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light loss monitoring device and system for specifying a factor and improving stability and reliability in the monitoring of light loss when the light loss fluctuates in a light line, light parts, or the like. ;SOLUTION: The light loss of a light source 1, a branch part 3, a reflection point 7, and an object 13 to be measured is measured by an operation processing part 17 based on light power values P1, P2, and P3 being measured by a light power measuring instrument 9, a light power measuring instrument 11, and a light power measuring instrument 15. Then, when an operation result that is calculated by the operation processing part 17 exceeds a specific reference value, an alarm signal is outputted, thus reporting to a worker than the light loss of the object 13 to be measured was large.
