PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently shorten the printing time even if any of a plurality of decentralized printers, develops a trouble.;SOLUTION: When any of the decentralized objects printers develops a trouble in a period from starting to output print data in the respective decentralized printers, to completion of the printing in the respective printers (step S350), a printer in a vacant state is automatically found out of the whole printers (printers connected to a computer body 16 by a local area network or a network) except for the decentralized printers (step S352), and the decentralized printing is performed using the found printer as a substitute printer.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
