PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual art museum system using 3D images.;SOLUTION: This system for supporting sales of art objects via a wide area network comprises a Web server 7 receiving reading of art object information by two-way type Web 3D images for an unspecified number of users 3, 4 on the wide area network 2, a virtual art museum opening means 8 for opening a virtual museum using 3D images, a 3D image database 14 for storing 3D images of the art museum, an FTP server 9 for transferring 3D image files, an order acceptance registering means 10 for receiving an order from a customer and registering it into a customer registration database, a commodity distribution means 11 for distributing a commodity with the order received by the order acceptance registering means, a charging means 12 for collecting bills for the sold commodities by a credit card, electronic money, etc., and a database server 13 for managing the 3D image database and the customer registration database 15.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
