PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tearing of a sheet like object when separating the sheet like objects in a sheet like object counter.;SOLUTION: The sheet like object counter is characterized by that a sheet like object counting head part is composed of a suction roller which is a cylindrical single rotor having air suction holes, the sheet like objects are sucked by the air suction holes of the suction roller, the sheet like objects are separated by the rotating suction roller maintaining suction of the sheet like objects, and the suction roller is used for both suction and separation of the sheet like objects.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
