PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frozen food of beefsteak having a low calorie, in which flavor of beef is retained, having soft texture.;SOLUTION: Beef is pulverized once by a mixer to soften the beef and the pulverized beef is blanched with hot water for a definite time to reduce calorie of the beef. A seasoning is added to the beef and the beef is formed in steak-like shape. The formed product is frozen once and spray processing of Japanese cow fat is practiced on the surface of the formed product. The sprayed formed product is frozen again. The formed product is thawed and cooked to provide the beef steak having the low calorie.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
